Program for Improving Capacity and Capability (PICC) Information Session
Monday, September 16, 2024
You're invited to attend the Program for Improving Capacity and Capability (PICC) information session designed to introduce you to the availability of grant opportunities for nonprofit organizations serving Norfolk residents.
The PICC program annually awards grants to organizations in three classifications through a competitive process. The primary goal of the program is to support City Council's priorities in rapid rehousing with case management, positive youth development, and senior-focused activities.
By expanding the community of non-profit service providers, PICC aims to provide eligible organizations with the funding needed to increase their capacity and capability to serve Norfolk residents.
This initiative seeks to enhance the availability of direct services for Norfolk's at-risk populations, including children, families, the elderly, disabled residents, those living in poverty, and individuals experiencing homelessness.
During the information session, we will review information focusing on Tiers 1, 2, and 3 and address any questions you may have.
