[ARCHIVED] 15-year-old found dead Monday afternoon sparks a homicide investigation

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk detectives are investigating a homicide Monday afternoon after police find a teenager dead inside his home.

Shortly after 3 p.m., police responded to a residence in the 1600 block of Corprew Avenue for report of a 15-year-old who was found unresponsive and not breathing. Medics pronounced the teen dead at the scene.

Police have not released any other details surrounding this investigation.

Detectives have classified this as a homicide investigation and ask anyone with information to call the Norfolk Crime Line at  1-888-LOCK-U-UP or submit a tip through the P3 Tips mobile app.
