[ARCHIVED] Man dies following shooting on Nicholson Street

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Detectives are continuing their investigation after a man was killed during an overnight shooting.

On November 14, 2020 around 12:50 a.m. police responded to a gunshot victim in the 400 block of Nicholson Street. When officers arrived, they located a man suffering from gunshot wounds. The man was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with life-threatening injuries. 

The man, identified as 29-year-old Jonathan L. Bassette, of Norfolk, later died at the hospital as a result of his injuries.
