NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk Police are continuing to investigate a single car crash that has left a man dead.
Around 11:00 a.m., on January 3, 2023, officers responded to the 6200 block of Granby Street for the report of a car that had hit a tree.
The driver, later identified as Jay A. Meeker, 47, Norfolk, was transported to the hospital where he later died as a result of his life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation by the Norfolk Police Department’s Auto Squad Unit
