City Council approved Monday, July 3, as an additional paid holiday for employees. This gesture speaks to Council’s appreciation of Team Norfolk’s hard work and daily dedication to the City of Norfolk.
Payroll Representatives have received communication on how to handle time entry for previous leave requests and ensure accurate payment. Leave requests for July 3 that have not been cancelled by supervisors will be cancelled by the Finance Payroll Division by close of business today.
