Norfolk Parks and Recreation is delighted to collaborate with FestEvents to bring three exceptional events to Five Points Park in 2024. These events will provide a pedestrian-friendly and alcohol-free environment, offering attendees the opportunity to enjoy live music, delicacies from food trucks, and engaging family activities. All events are free and open to the public.
The first event, Motown Mingle, scheduled for April 26, will feature a performance by local favorite BJ Griffin Band, known for their appearance on America's Got Talent. Additionally, attendees can indulge in a variety of delectable treats from Yolee's G-Dawgz and Ben and Jerry's, while participating in fun family activities and arts and crafts.
Following this exciting kick-off, the event series continues with a Caribbean-themed event planned for July 26, and a Football and Fun event scheduled for November 2.
