NORFOLK, Va. – Believe in Learning Norfolk is a city-wide lifelong learning initiative in partnership with the City of Norfolk and more than 100 community, business and service partners. For the second year, Believe in Learning Norfolk is excited to present six weeks of engaging learning opportunities for all ages with Summer of Learning: Adventure Begins with You, from June 22 to Aug. 3.
Summer of Learning starts with a celebration on June 22 at Mary D. Pretlow Anchor Branch Library (111 W. Ocean View Ave.). This free event is suitable for all ages and features a wide range of activities, such as music tutorials, yoga, crafts, mock camping set up, face painting, glitter tattoos, coding, green screen photos and much more!
Summer of Learning Kickoff Celebration

The kickoff celebration is just the beginning! This summer’s theme is “Adventure Begins with You” and, thanks to partners at Norfolk Public Library, Norfolk Parks & Recreation, Tidewater Arts Outreach, Norfolk Master Gardeners, Virginia Zoo, PrimePlus Senior Centers and many more, Norfolk residents can really embark on an adventurous summer of learning.
