General Information:

The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) is a federal program. Due to changes at the national level, supper meals and weekend meals are not available during this year’s summer academic break. Children must be present to receive a meal and they must consume the meal on-site. A maximum of one breakfast and one lunch per child, per day, Monday through Friday, may be provided. While participation in NPS’ summer academic programs is highly encouraged for students, it is not required for them to receive a meal. No application, registration, or proof of identification is needed for a child to receive a meal. Meals provided are nutritious, tasty, and follow USDA’s nutrition guidelines. Locally grown foods are utilized when possible. Meal choices will be the same, regardless of race, color, national origin, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), disability, or age. There will be no discrimination.
