NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk Police have arrested and charged a 38-year-old woman in connection with a stabbing Friday morning that left another woman seriously injured.
On June 21, 2024, around 10:00 a.m. Officers responded to a home in the 300 block of Nicholson Street for the report of a stabbing victim. When police arrived, they found a 42-year-old woman suffering from life-threatening stab wounds and she was taken to a hospital.
Following their investigation, detectives charged Rynesha D. Westbrook, 38, of Norfolk, with malicious wounding.
Westbrook was taken into custody at the scene and is currently being held in Norfolk City Jail without bond.
