NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) - Detectives have charged a 41-year-old man in connection with a shooting last week on E. Olney Road.
On June 19, 2024, around 4:05 p.m., dispatch received a call for the report of a shooting in the 800 block of E Olney Road. When the Officers arrived, they found a 50-year-old woman suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
She was taken to the hospital for treatment and is expected to recover.
As a result of their investigation, Detectives have charged Andrew K. Babb, 41, of Norfolk, with attempted malicious wounding, malicious wounding, use of a firearm, and possession of a firearm by a felon.
Babb was arrested on June 21, 2024, around 10:00 p.m., by Norfolk Police and is currently being held in Norfolk City Jail without bond.
