Get ready to heat up the summer with Norfolk Parks & Recreation as we join forces with Norfolk Festevents for the Norview Paradise Party! Mark your calendars for Saturday, July 27, from 6-9 p.m. at Five Points Park and Plaza, where the Caribbean vibes will be in full swing. Join us for an evening filled with the rhythmic beats of local favorite JuJu Drum, mouthwatering delights from Yolee's G-Dawgz and Ben and Jerry's, and tons of family-friendly activities, games, and arts and crafts.
**Plan to come a little early at 5:30 p.m. to watch as we cut the ribbon on the Five Points Sculpture installation. "Grass Dome" is a 22-ft. interactive sculpture that simulates growing grass blades and forms an open canopy over a Five Points pathway. This one-of-a-kind public art installation, designed and built by California-based artists group Engineered Artworks, is another great community project spearheaded by Norfolk Arts.
