NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Detectives have arrested a man wanted in connection with a shooting last month on Pretty Lake Avenue that left a man dead.
Around 7:20 p.m. on July 21, 2024, police were called to a home in the 2100 block of Pretty Lake Avenue for the report of a gunshot victim. When Officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.
The man, later identified as Norman A. Hollowell Jr.,24, of Norfolk, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
As a result of the investigation, Steven E. Williams Jr., 23, has been charged with second-degree murder, and use of a firearm.
Norfolk Police arrested Williams on August 13th and he is currently being held in Norfolk City Jail without bond.
