Substance Abuse and Drug Free Workplace: Recognizing the Signs and Symptoms of Drug/Alcohol Use
This three-hour online training is designed to provide supervisors with tools needed to recognize and address alcohol and drug use in the workplace.
Human Resources will provide an overview of the Substance Abuse policy and procedures, to include post-vehicle accident procedures.
During this session, supervisors will learn physical and behavioral warning signs that may coincide with employee drug and alcohol use. They will also learn skills to confront employees constructively.
Although this training was developed to meet the Department of Transportation requirements for supervisors of Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) holders, all supervisors can benefit from the content.
