[ARCHIVED] Norfolk Arts Presents: Polyphonic Story Slam

A celebration of art, passion and community

NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk Arts invites the community to an extraordinary evening of storytelling and creativity at the Polyphonic Story Slam on Thursday, Oct. 17, at 6 p.m. at the historic Attucks Theatre (1010 Church St.). This event is FREE and open to the public with no tickets or reservations required.

Polyphonic Story Slam brings together more than a dozen Norfolk-based arts organizations, offering an intimate, behind-the-scenes glimpse into the heart of their artistic journeys. Through heartfelt stories, each group will share their passion for art, dedication to the community and the challenges and triumphs they’ve encountered along the way.

Featured arts organizations include:

  • Access Virginia
  • The Norfolk Street Choir Project
  • Virginia Children’s Chorus
  • Mosaic Steel Orchestra
  • Boys Choir of Hampton Roads
  • Studio 360 Performing Arts
  • Arts for Learning
  • Tidewater Classical Guitar
  • Tidewater African Cultural Alliance
