NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Detectives have arrested and charged a woman following a shooting on Giles Circle.
On January 18th, around 8:10 p.m., police were dispatched to a home in the 3800 block of Giles Circle for the report of a gunshot victim. When police arrived, they found a 34-year-old man suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.
The man was taken to the hospital for treatment and is expected to recover.
As a result of this investigation, Marlena Hasbrouck, 40, of Norfolk, has been charged with reckless handling of a firearm.
Hasbrouck was taken into custody at the scene by Officers and is currently being held in Norfolk City Jail without bond.
