Motorists should be alert to new traffic patterns on I-64 west at the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel beginning overnight Wednesday, July 9.
NORFOLK - Motorists traveling west on I-64 should expect a new traffic pattern at the HRBT beginning overnight on Wednesday, July 9, 2025.
To accommodate the next phase of construction for the new tunnel approaches at South Island, HRBT Expansion crews will shift both lanes of traffic onto a temporary bridge that leads into the westbound tunnel.
