This month comes with an extra paycheck! The Aug. 29 paycheck will be your third this month, and you may notice some differences with your leave accruals and deductions.
Leave Accruals: Eligible employees earn their total monthly leave in the first two paychecks of the month. There are no Annual or Sick Leave accruals on the third paycheck.
Deductions: Many regular deductions are processed as monthly amounts and split between the first two paychecks. Since SOME deductions won’t apply to the third paycheck, you may receive a slightly higher amount.
