[ARCHIVED] THREE NEW BUSINESSES CELEBRATE THEIR GRAND OPENING & RIBBON CUTTING AT SELDEN MARKET

From our partners at Selden Market

Norfolk, VA — Selden Market is proud to announce the grand opening of its newest small businesses with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, December 5 at 11:00 AM. The community is invited to join the celebration and get a sneak peek of the Market’s newly renovated layout, featuring upgraded amenities, new shops, and an enhanced guest experience. This ribbon cutting celebration will introduce three new businesses to the Market:

Juniper & Jam — Small-batch jams, flaky baked goods, and seasonal, from-scratch lunches crafted with intention and locally sourced ingredients.

Model Citizen — A premium ready-to-drink cocktail company offering expertly crafted beverages and cocktail supply for on-the-go enjoyment.

Avocargo — Vibrant, chef-inspired meals made fresh daily — from plant-forward dishes to select chicken options — blending bold Caribbean and Southern flavors.

Attendees of the ribbon cutting and opening activities can expect samples, product previews, and special activations from each shop as they debut their offerings to the public. Selden Market is located at 208 E. Main Street in Norfolk, VA, inside the historic Selden Arcade — a landmark transformed to support local businesses and cultivate community commerce and creativity. Members of the media, local leaders, and the public are invited to attend and help welcome these new businesses to Selden Market.
