[ARCHIVED] Two people arrested following weekend shooting on Walker Avenue

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Detectives have charged two people in connection with a shooting on Walker Avenue over the weekend. 

On December 6th around 4:45 p.m., Officers were called the 600 block of Walker Avenue for the report of a gunshot disturbance. 

Soon after, a woman arrived at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. 

While Officers were at the hospital, a second man arrived who was also suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. 

Detectives determined the incidents were all related to one another.

As a result of the investigation, Alicia M. Jordan, 33, and Jahquez J. McInnis, 24, both of Norfolk, were each charged with malicious wounding. 

Both are currently being held in the Norfolk City Jail without bond. 

Detectives have not released a motive, or any additional circumstances surrounding this incident.
