On 08/26/2014, around 8:20 P.M., a call was received in the Norfolk Communications Center for an attempted commercial robbery at the Chinatown Restaurant located at 720 Church Street. An employee stated that a middle-aged black male suspect entered the business and produced a note demanding money and implying a weapon. The employee did not give the suspect any money.
