[ARCHIVED] Norfolk Detectives Investigating an Afternoon Shooting

On September 2, 2014, around 12:25 P.M., a call came into the Emergency Communications Center for a gunshot victim at Walker Avenue and Craig Street. Both Norfolk Police and Fire Rescue responded and discovered one adult male suffering from what appears to be at this time, a non-life threatening gunshot wound. He was transported to Sentra Norfolk General Hospital. There is no suspect information available at this time, however Norfolk Police Detectives are currently investigating this incident.

Anyone who may have information about this crime, they are encouraged to call the Norfolk Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP (1-888-562-5887). Any information that leads to an arrest can earn a reward of up to $1,000.
