[ARCHIVED] Detectives Investigate Morning Shooting

On 9/5/14 at approximately 12:45 a.m., Norfolk Police and Fire Rescue responded to the 2400 block of Nevada Avenue for a possible gunshot victim. Police located a 30-year-old male suffering from an injury consistent with a gunshot wound. Fire Rescue transported the victim to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with what appears to be a non-life threatening injury. Norfolk Detectives arrived on scene and are currently investigating the incident. Anyone who may have information about this crime is encouraged to call the Norfolk Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP (1-888-562-5887). Any information that leads to an arrest can earn a reward of up to $1,000.
