[ARCHIVED] Police Investigating a Hit and Run, Involving Three Kids

On September 6th 2014, around 4:10 p.m., a call was received in the Emergency Communications Center for a Hit and Run Motor Vehicle Accident with injuries at 38th Street and Granby Street. Norfolk Police and Fire Rescue responded and found that three boys, ages 11, 7, and 5, we crossing the street inside the crosswalk toward Lafayette Park, when a Dark Blue or Maroon Toyota Camry struck all three children. The children were transported to CHKD, all having non-life threatening injuries. The vehicle did not stop, and continued southbound on Granby Street. Norfolk Police Traffic Unit and Auto Squad Detectives are on scene, investigating this accident.
