[ARCHIVED] Police Seeking Information on an Assault that occurred on W. 41st Street

On September 7, 2014 around 1:00 a.m., a call was received in the Emergency Communications Center for an assault not in progress in the 1200 block of W. 41st Street. Norfolk Police and Fire Rescue responded and discovered an adult male who had been assaulted and was unconscious. He was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, for what appears to be non-life threatening injuries. Witnesses to the assault stated that the victim was assaulted by two unknown black males. No further description was given to police. Norfolk Police Detectives are actively investigating this incident.
