[ARCHIVED] Norfolk Detectives Investigate Commerical Robbery

On September 9, 2014 at approximately 4:45 a.m., an adult male suspect entered the 7-11 convenience store located at 2214 E. Ocean View Avenue. The suspect displayed a firearm and demanded money from a store clerk. The clerk complied with the suspect's demands and then fled from the area on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. No one in the store was injured during the incident and Norfolk Detectives are actively investigating this case.

The suspect is described as a black male with a light complexion, last seen wearing square frame prescription glasses, a dark hooded sweatshirt, white gloves, long khaki pants, and had his face covered with a bandana. He is described as being 6’2”-6’5” in height and in the mid 20’s-30’s in age.
