[ARCHIVED] Police Investigate Commercial Robbery

On September 16th, 2014, shortly after 7:30 pm, Norfolk Emergency Communications Center received a call for a commercial robbery that just occurred at the Family Dollar located at 6130 Chesapeake Blvd. An employee told police that two unknown males entered the store, one displayed a handgun, and demanded money. After the suspects received an undisclosed amount of cash, they both were last seen running across Chesapeake Blvd. No one was injured during this robbery.

Suspect descriptions:
Suspect 1: Black male, 30’s, 6’2”, 250 lbs, wearing a gray mask and dark clothing.
Suspect 2: Black male, 30’s, 6’0”, 180 lbs, wearing a white mask, and armed with a handgun.
