[ARCHIVED] Detectives Investigate a Shooting

On September 17, 2014 shortly after 12:30 a.m., Police were notified of an adult male who sought treatment for an injury consistent with a gunshot wound at Sentara Leigh Memorial Hospital. The injury is considered to be non-life threatening. The victim stated that the incident occurred on 09/16/2014 at approximately 9:00 p.m. near the intersection of Barre Street and Lindenwood Avenue. The Detective Division is currently investigating this incident.
