This evening, shortly after 10:30 pm, Norfolk Police Vice and Narcotic Investigators conducted a search warrant on a home in the 400 block of Fresh Meadow Road. During the search, Investigators found a small amount of chemicals that are commonly used to produce methamphetamines located inside a detached garage in the rear of the home. Norfolk Fire Rescue responded to assist with the Hazmat materials. A man and a woman have been detained, and are being questioned by police. No charges have been filed, as the investigation is on-going.
Update: Police have arrested two people in connection with the search warrant that was conducted in the 400 block of Fresh Meadow Road last evening. There was a small child inside the home when police served the warrant and custody of the child has since been turned over to a family member.

1 Count of Felony Child Endangerment
27-year-old Theresa Butler of the 400 block of Fresh Meadow Road has been charged with:
2 Counts of Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance
1 Count of Manufacture or Possess a Controlled Substance
1 Count Felony Child Endangerment
