[ARCHIVED] NPD Investigating a Sunday Morning Shooting of a Teenager

Around 11:00 this morning, police were called to the 900 block of Avenue H for a report of teenager who had been shot. As police and fire rescue arrived, they found a 16-year-old young man suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound, and transported him to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for treatment. At this time there is no suspect information, as this is an on-going investigation.
