[ARCHIVED] Detectives Investigate Shooting Incident

Shortly after 9:30 pm on October 23, 2014, a man was approached by two black males armed with handguns and shot in the 400 block of E. Olney Road. The man sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound and was transported from the scene to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital by Norfolk Fire Rescue for treatment. The suspects have been described as black males wearing all dark clothing. Norfolk Detectives are actively investigating this case, and are asking anyone who may have information about this incident to call the Norfolk Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP (1-888-562-5887). Any information that leads to an arrest can earn a reward of up to $1,000.
