Norfolk Police responded to the 6200 block of Alexander Street shortly after 2:30 this afternoon for a reported gunshot victim. Upon arrival, officers located a man with an injury consistent with a gunshot wound. At this time, the man’s injuries appear to be non-life threatening. The Special Operations Team responded to the scene to assist in clearing a nearby residence shortly after the shooting took place. The residence was cleared without incident and Detectives are now actively investigating this case.
