[ARCHIVED] Norfolk Police Investigating Accident Involving Motorcyclist

Norfolk Traffic Officers are currently investigating a motor vehicle accident with injuries involving a Motorcyclist.

Shortly after 2 p.m. today, police were called to the intersection of North Military Highway and Elizabeth Avenue for a motor vehicle accident involving a motorcyclist. The motorcyclist, a 54-year-old man was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with what appears to be, at this time, serious injuries.

The vehicle and driver involved in the crash remained at the scene. Traffic Units are currently investigating this crash.

Northbound traffic on N. Military Highway from Elizabeth Avenue to Northampton Boulevard will be closed to traffic.
