[ARCHIVED] Norfolk Police Investigating Stabbing Incident

Shortly after 9:00 this morning, police responded to the 1500 block of Virgilina Avenue for a report of a stabbing victim.

Upon arrival, police discovered a 46-year-old woman, and a 24-year-old man suffering from apparent stab wounds.

Both victims were transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with what appears to be non-life threatening injuries.

At this time, the scene is contained and Norfolk Police Detectives have a 50-year-old man detained in reference to this incident.

The investigation is ongoing at this time.
