Norfolk Police Detectives are actively working two commercial robberies and are asking the public’s assistance in identifying the man shown in the attached photo. The first robbery took place shortly after midnight on April 21, 2015 in the 7-11 located at 1713 Colley Avenue. The second robbery took place at 9:00 pm on April 22, 2015 in the Church’s Chicken located at 7600 Hampton Boulevard. Both times, a handgun was displayed and the suspect took various items before fleeing from the area.
The suspect has been described as a black male, approximately 6’1” – 6’2”, 190-200 pounds, with a thin black beard, a possible round-shaped tattoo on the right side of his neck, and a possible scar under his right eye.
