[ARCHIVED] Norfolk Peace Officers Memorial Service To Be Held Indoors

Due to the pending inclement weather, the Norfolk Police Department's Peace Officers Memorial Service scheduled for this morning has been moved inside City Hall to the City Council Chambers (810 Union Street, 11th Floor). The ceremony is still scheduled to commence at 9:30 am, and is open to the public as we honor the brave men and women who have sacrificed their lives in the line of duty.

Parking at the City Hall- South Garage (999 Main Street) is free of charge for those attending the ceremony. In case of overflow parking, shuttle service will be provided to those who use the Harbor Park parking lot. The shuttle will provide transportation to and from the Harbor Park Light Rail Platform and the front steps of City Hall.
