Shortly after 6:30 P.M., 9-1-1 dispatchers received a call for a gunshot victim in the 2400 block of Ballentine Boulevard.
Upon arrival, police located a 23-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The man died at the scene.
Norfolk Detectives are actively investigating this incident and are classifying it as a homicide.
Investigators are looking for a suspect described as a black man, wearing all black.
