On 5/25/2015 shortly after 2:30 P.M., an unknown man entered the Econo Lodge Hotel located at 865 N. Military Highway.
The man pulled out a silver handgun, jumped over the counter, and took U.S. currency out of the register. The suspect then jumped over the counter to exit the hotel lobby.
The suspect is described as a light skin black man, 6’0 160-170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white hat, black sunglasses, white T-shirt, red sweat pants and white shoes.
