[ARCHIVED] Man Found Dead On Grove Avenue

Shortly before 2:00 a.m. on June 2, 2015, Norfolk Dispatchers received a call for a possible stabbing that had occurred. Officers located a man in the 9300 block of Grove Avenue and the man was pronounced dead at the scene. The Norfolk Police Detective Division is currently investigating this incident, which is being classified as a homicide. The exact cause of death will be determined by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner and the victim's identification will not be released until next of kin is properly notified.
