[ARCHIVED] Gunshot Disturbance Sends Two Men to the Hospital

Around 3:30 this morning police were called to the area of the 800 block of West 36th Street for numerous gunshots heard. Once police arrived, no gunshot victims were located.

At 3:35 a.m. a 34-year-old man entered Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with what appears to be, at this time, non-life threatening gunshot wounds.

At 3:40 a.m. a 20-year-old man entered Children’s Hospital of the Kings Daughters with what appears to be, at this time, a serious gunshot injury.

Both victims appear to have been shot in the area of the 800 block of West 36th Street, however, detectives are actively investigating this incident and encourage anyone who may have information about this case to contact the Norfolk Crime Line at either:
