[ARCHIVED] 13-Year-Old In Custody After Stabbing Incident

Shortly after 2:30 P.M., 9-1-1 dispatchers received a call for a stabbing victim in the 2900 block of Somme Avenue.

Upon arrival, police found a man suffering from an apparent stab wound. The 36-year-old man was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital and is currently in Critical Condition.

Norfolk Detectives have detained a 13-year-old male in relation to the stabbing.

Investigators are actively continuing their investigation and at this time, there is no other information available.
