Shortly before 3:30 a.m., 9-1-1 dispatchers received a call for gunshots heard in the 900 block of Bagnall Road.
Upon arrival, police found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
The man was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital and his condition is currently unknown.
