[ARCHIVED] Chesapeake man arrested in armed robbery of Cook Out Restaurant

Norfolk police have arrested the man accused of robbing the Cook Out located at 1105 N. Military Highway Thursday morning.

Detectives say that 29-year-old Adrian D. Brickhouse entered the restaurant around 9:15 this morning, displayed a handgun and demanded money. He fled the scene prior to police arrival.

Responding officers spotted the getaway vehicle driven by Brickhouse in the 300 block of N. Military Highway where he was arrested without incident.

There were no customers located in the restaurant during the robbery and no employees were injured.

Brickhouse has been charged with robbery, 2 counts of abduction, and 3 counts of use of a firearm in commission of a felony.

Once the booking process has been completed, his photo will be released.
