[ARCHIVED] Two men wanted for shooting arrested

The Norfolk Police Fugitive Unit along with the assistance of the United States Marshal’s Office Task Force have arrested 50-year-old Isaiah Walter Wilson, and 22-year-old Kevon Danarus Whitehurst. Wilson and Whitehurst are wanted in connection to a shooting incident that left a man seriously injured.

On August 10, 2015 shortly before 6:00 p.m., police responded to the 3000 block of E. Princess Anne Road for a report of a gunshot victim. Upon arrival, officers located a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

On August 24, 2015 shortly before 12:30 p.m., Wilson and Whitehurst were taken into custody without incident in the 400 block of E. Little Creek. Both men are facing Aggravated Assault charges.
