[ARCHIVED] Two Norfolk police officers remain on administrative duty following indictments

Based on a Virginia State Police Investigation, today a Norfolk Grand Jury has returned indictments on two Norfolk Police Officers, both charged with four counts each of Felony Embezzlement. These indictments stem from an off-duty matter.

Officer Randolph Brann and Officer Jacob Wright will remain on administrative duty throughout the court proceeding and pending internal investigation. Both officers have been with the Norfolk Police Department for seven years.

The Norfolk Police Department is fully cooperating with the Virginia State Police and Norfolk Commonwealth Attorney’s Office.
