On August 25, 2015 around 1:00 pm, police were called to the 3700 block of Robin Hood Road for a motor vehicle accident with injuries involving a pedestrian.

Preliminary investigation reveals that an 18-year-old woman was standing outside of the passenger side door of a newer model dark blue Chevrolet Pickup talking with the driver. During the conversation the driver abruptly sped away from with the woman who was still hanging onto the door.

As the vehicle was traveling, the woman lost her grip when the passenger door handle broke and was ran over by the rear tire. She was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

Police are seeking assistance in locating the man driving the pickup truck. He is described as a black man, in his late 20’s to early 30's, with short hair. He was last seen wearing a dark colored shirt and Army Fatigue pants. A possible nick name for him is “Cash.”

A possible partial plate for the truck is JHL and is missing the passenger side door handle.
