[ARCHIVED] Ocean View 7-11 robbed in early-morning incident

The Norfolk Police Detective Division is investigating an early-morning robbery in Ocean View.

Shortly after 3:00 a.m., Norfolk police responded to the 7-11 convenience store located at 909 E. Ocean View Avenue for a possible robbery. Two men entered the store, demanding money and items from the clerk. One suspect brandished a handgun, threatening the clerk. After obtaining the items, the men fled from the scene prior to police being contacted.

The men have been described as the following:

(1) Black male, approximately 6’2” in height and 200 lbs, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark colored sweatpants and armed with a handgun

(2) Black male approximately 5’8”-5'10" in height and 180 lbs, wearing a hooded sweatshirt covering his head and face
