It can happen to anyone who uses plastic to purchase and it happened to one Norfolk man.
On September 22, 2015, a Norfolk resident received a message from his credit card company asking if he was attempting to make a purchase at the Home Depot located at 1261 N. Military Highway. The victim stated he was nowhere near the store, and requested the purchase be declined.
Norfolk police were notified and a reported was filed. Detectives are now looking for the suspect shown in the photograph.
Video surveillance captured from the incident reveals a man walk into the store and attempt to purchase several items using the victim’s bank account. The man has been described as a black male, between 18-25 years of age.
