[ARCHIVED] Norfolk Detectives investigate fatal shooting on Manson Street

Police in Norfolk are investigating a homicide that occurred late Monday evening at the intersection of Manson Street and Wilson Road.

Officers were called around 9:30 p.m. for a report of a gunshot victim in the 1400 block of Manson Street.

Once police arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound lying in the roadway.

He was pronounced deceased at the scene. His age and identity are not known at this time.

Once the next of kin notification process is completed, his identity will be released.
