Update:
Norfolk, VA – Norfolk police continue to investigate a shooting that left a 26-year-old man dead, and two Old Dominion University students hurt late Friday evening.
Detectives confirm that Keith Lendore of the 2100 block Auburn Lane in Hampton was shot and killed shortly before 11:45 p.m. near 37th Street and Killam Avenue last night. Lendore was not a current ODU student.
Also wounded in the shooting were two ODU students, a 19-and-20-year-old. Both women were transported to the hospital, where they are expected to recover.
“NPD and ODU police are working closely together in this investigation to arrest the person, or people who are responsible for killing this man, and wounding two students,” a Norfolk Detective said.

Norfolk, Va – A shooting in Norfolk late Friday evening at a party has left one man dead, and two women injured.
Shortly before 11:45 pm police received reports of several gunshots heard in the area of 37th Street and Killam Avenue.
Once police arrived, they found a man lying on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man’s age and identity are not known at this time.
Once the next of kin notification process is completed, his identity will be released.
Two women were also found at the scene with gunshot wounds. Both were transported by paramedics to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
