Update November 14, 2015:
Norfolk, Va. – Detectives in Norfolk have now classified last night's shooting on Denver Avenue as a Homicide.
Shortly before 7:30 pm last night, police responded to the 4700 block of Denver Avenue for reports of gunshots heard.
Once police arrived, they found 38-year-old Isaac S. Gervasio of the 2400 block of Spruce Street lying in the road suffering from a gunshot wound.
Gervasio was rushed to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for treatment last night, but died today from his injuries.

Norfolk, Va. – Detectives from the Norfolk Police Department are investigating a shooting that occurred this evening near the intersection of Denver Avenue and Sewells Point Road.
Shortly before 7:30 pm, police received numerous reports of gunshots heard on Denver Avenue.
As police were responding to the area, dispatchers received another call of a man lying in the street in the 4700 block of Denver Avenue suffering from a gunshot wound.
Paramedics rushed the man to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with serious injuries. His age is not known at this time.
